More than a lonely cairn of stones

First, ice flows melt and open up a real Northwest Passage. Now, via commodorified comes the news that explorers may have found traces of the lost ships of the Franklin Expedition.

I get goosebumps.

Oh, wow. Wow.

"Lady Franklin's Lament" is one of the first ballads I ever learned (and no, I can't resist singing it in the same set as "Northwest Passage" and "Harp Song of the Dane Women").

Wow.

Very interesting. (Or, as my husband put it when I told him, "Interesante.")
