Where Did This Music Come From?

Something very strange - probably just symptomatic of my creeping middle age, but maybe a gift. I was browsing my iTunes library and saw a small collection of songs by Ed Laurie, apparently from an album called Meanwhile in the Park. I have no recollection of hearing it before, and when I went to the iTunes store to see if there were reviews, it wasn't listed there, so I have no idea where it came from! But it's really good. He has a nice smooth voice, backed by what sounds like a Spanish guitar. The songs are vaguely Leonard Cohenish. Slightly folky, very pleasant to listen to. If anyone has any theories about how this could have found its way to my computer, I'd love to hear them.

Meanwhile, here's a sample

Robinson's death has hit me hard. Also, the general feeling of doglessness. I haven't been without a dog, except for when on holiday, for eighteen…
