Ripping and Roaring

I've been having a lovely time this morning, "ripping" a couple of cd's ("The Classical Jazz Quartet plays Bach" and the soundtrack to High Fidelity, one of my essential easy listening mixes), downloading a couple of songs that Pandora recommended, and a book from Audibles (Life of Pi, which I've never read). Why is it that so many of these lovely tech things are also the most dreadful time sinks??

Now I'm going to take my sleek elegant object out into the garden with the hounds and lie under a tree and listen to some cool jazz.

I suspect, however, the "music" entries on my blog posts are going to be more varied and interesting from now on.
